Peripheral Neuropathy
Dr. Tracy Ferragamo specializes in the treatment and surgical correction of diabetic and non-diabetic neuropathy of the feet. This breakthrough procedure can often reverse symptoms such as tingling, burning, and shooting pains in the feet as well as the pain tha may keep you awake at night. Dr. Ferragamo was one of the first eleven foot surgeons in the country trained and certified to perform this revolutionary procedure.

Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) occurs when there is a buildup of cholesterol and plaque in the arteries of the lower extremities, causing decreased blood flow to the legs and feet. Peripheral arterial disease is often and diagnosed or misdiagnosed because symptoms at the disease may be dismissed as part of the normal aging process. Symptoms of PAD can include, but are not limited to, the following:

Pain in the legs brought on by walking and relieved with rest
Numbness or tingling in the leg, foot or toes
Changes in skin temperature or color
Poorly healing wound on lower extremity

Our in office 30 minute tests by one of our certified technologists can provide early detection of PAD when treatment options are brought us. Our pad neck lab detects blockages and arteries and the quality of blood flow using full spine recordings and segmental blood pressure measurements.

Digital Orthotics
Orthotics are customized prescription arch supports that help support, align and prevent or correct foot deformities. Orthotics are the tested, proven way to stabilize her feet, relieve pressure and get the biomechanical function of your feet back in alignment.

At the Davis Podiatry Center we utilize the PedAlign scanner to create a digital image of your foot. Your pair of orthotics will be tailored to your individual feet. Unlike over-the-counter insoles you can buy in a store, custom-made orthotics help compensate for factors that lessen the foot’s ability to function normally. This infrared scanning system utilizes the latest technology to bring you the highest quality custom-made orthotics.

HyProCure™ Implants
Davis Surgery Center and National Surgical Care congratulates Dr. Tracy Ferragamo on her certification and training of the HyProCure™ implant surgery to correct flat feet, overpronation and falling arches, conditions that affects approximately 60% of the population. Dr. Ferragamo is currently the only Podiatrist in Northern California certified in HyProCure™ Implant surgery.

Anodyne Therapy
Anodyne Therapy is a treatment that uses light energy, which dramatically increases circulation in the area to which it is applied. Light-emitting diodes are fitted into flexible pads that can be applied directly to the skin on any affected part of the body. The light energy helps increase blood flow by delivering healing cells and nutrients to the injured site.
